Wendy Blanton has been writing since she learned to string words into sentences. She is a U.S. Air Force veteran with a long and eclectic resume. When she’s not mired in stories, she enjoys reading, camping, gardening, and drinking coffee. She lives in Imperial, MO with her husband, cats, and a couple reclusive fairies.

Himself is Wendy’s long-suffering, camera shy husband. He, too, is a USAF veteran and currently works in the IT industry. His duties at CWD include managing all the tech, reminding Wendy (and her parents) to update their computers, consulting on story content, and managing household chores when Wendy is on deadline.

Ryan (aka Bubby Cat) has been the Senior Writer Cat since CWD began. He has a talent for helping Wendy plot and is an excellent snuggler.

Dorian Gray (Baby D) joined CWD in September 2022. His current duties include bird watching, making sure Wendy leaves her desk once in a while, and late-night snuggles.
